This is the most attractive church in Oaxaca, in my opinion. And the former monastery now contains an excellent museum. Julie and I love Oaxaca and collect Oaxacan art, but we have not been back there in about 10 years.

How beautiful this is Jose. I am pleased to read that it has been turned into a museum. They do not build them like this anymore and it is still, at least to my mind, some of the finest architecture around. They should not be abandoned. Love the ceiling on this one.

Beautiful shots. The details in the ceiling are wonderful.

I did a satire using Oaxaca as a starting point one time...isn't that where they had a lot of protests against various governmental leaders?

These are beautiful shots of some beautiful buildings. That ceiling is something else!

Very rich details! I like monasteries, one of my preferred is Jeronimos in Belem, Lisbon.
God bless you!
