Now that is just about perfect! What a trip that must have been! I've been reading about all that India has to offer (specifically this area) ... so it's really nice to see this fantastic structure!

This has to be one of the most magnificent buildings in the world Jose. What beaty. I always love the reflection in the water.

Beautiful, beautiful! What an impressive palace and so well captured by your camera, with the reflection and all... The header is also a treat! And the Blue Mosque in Instanbul is really something, isn't it? I saw that one with my own eyes...
God bless you!

Julie and I have had dinner at the Lake Palace. We stayed at the Oberoi Udaivillas across the lake, which is architecturally stunning. They were using it as a photo shoot for swim suit models at the time we were there. Elizabeth Hurley was at the next table to us at breakfast.

We were told that Jacqueline Onassis observed the Lake Palace and made the suggestion that it should be turned into a hotel, and hence, it was.

Awww this is beautiful! Does anyone live there? Is it open for tourists?

Dave, I believe you are talking about the Lake Palace in Udaipur which actually is an amazing hotel; this palace is in Jaipur and it's not an hotel. Unfortunatelly it was close to the public and I could not visit it...
