These photos make me want to go to Venice NOW. I'm a firm believer that "God is in the detail" and absolutely love photos of details rather than wide shots :-)
Amazing photos shot with great expertise and skill.
They stir up my imagination of a beautiful world of the bye gone era where people loved art and beauty and made their building into masterpieces of great taste and magnificent style. They gave life to their dreams.
The crafts men who produced these wonderful creations have all gone but their works remain to enchant us even today.
I am sorry to note that some of the buildings need urgent repair and restoration. I hope the concerned authorities will take some action without delay.
One of my brothers proposed to his wife on a gondola in Venice. I have always wanted to go there - one of these days hopefully! The photos on this posts are really beautiful - the details are incredible.

Wow, fantastic shot and a great blog.
I love the different perspective in your first shot Jose. This is a lovely, though old city and these are great pics of it as usual.
I think all the photographs have great composition skills applied. The second photograph is color-centric instead of compose-centric :)
