La Paz

Although Sucre is the official capital of Bolivia, La Paz (3.660m) is the most important city in the country. Illimani vulcano stands in the backgroud.
Downtown main square.
Next to southern La Paz, Valle de la Luna shows amazing formations of volcanic rock eroded by rainfall.

I didn't even know that La Paz wasn't the capital of Bolivia. How sad is that? Lovely photos!
