A beautiful place and excellent pictures of it Jose. It makes me wonder if these buildings could talk what tales they will be able to tell us.

Hi JM :)

I am thrilled to see the awe inspirinng photos from the greatest power in the ancient world.

Alexander,Archimedes, Helen of Troy, Achiles, Plato, Socarates,Homer etc. come to my mind.

This is the land where democracy was born.

These structures were probably erected befor Christ and it is a marvel to see them still standing in all their glory testifying the great knowledge the Greeks had about architecture and construction.

Many thanks for sharing.

Have a wonderful day :)

Oh, my big, big,BIG favorite - both the country and the historic parts of this city too! I have been in Greece about fifteen times, in Athens only three times but in the different parts of Greece
including many islands.

And your photos tells stories from the ancient times.

Greetings from the middle of white, glimmering snow!
