Golden is certainly the right word to describe the places depicted in these photos! I like them both, but especially the first one as it also says something about the people.

Did you see that the woman activist has finally been released from house arrest in Myanmar? Maybe there's hope for some changes...

Amazingly beautiful riches in a land of such dire poverty. Gorgeous architecture. I've struggled about going to Burma and so far I have not. Now that Aung San Su Kyi has been released from house arrest, I will listen for her signals. It's not a clear cut case, I know.
