such a magnificent capture. we have not yet been to Easter Island but may go in November. It seems like such an intriguing place to visit.

That's pretty interesting. What I don't remember is if this sculpture is native to Chile, or whether someone is making a statement because of the style of the Easter Island statues.

Good grief!! That must weigh a ton!! I hope it is a modern sculpture which they used a crane to get there. :)
