They are both gorgeous, but because of all the cloudy, gray weather we've had here in Seattle, I really love the sunny one! Marvelous captures as always, JM! Have a wonderful week!

Superb contrast here. What a great beach. Where are all the people? The cloudy photo has a moody, almost spooky feeling to it; as if a storm is looming. The sunny photo makes my heart sing!

Amei as duas versões, essa praia é maravilhosa!
Que ondas delicadas, como uma renda branquinha no vestido azul do mar!

What a great contrast and lovely photo. I'm so used to seeing seascapes like the top one that it feels like home. I have to get used to the colors in the bottom one. It looks perfectly foreign :)

Completely different feel! Love the sunny colors though ... it rained in Los Angeles this morning and is actually quite cool tonight so I think I am going to try to dream of sunny Portugal tonight!

I've always marveled at how the character of a place changes with the weather. Nowhere is that more obvious than the sea shore. While a gray day can give the beach an interesting moodiness, I have a sunny disposition, so I am more attracted to the deep colors of the sea and shore in the second shot.
