The loss of many coral reefs does not bode well for the future of our planet. Over fishing by the Japanese of the fish that is the predator for the crown of thorns is allowing the crown of thorns to kill the coral reefs in Polynesia.

@Kathy: I was underwater. Actually, the reef around Koh Tao was one of the most beautiful I've seen. Shame I just had a disposable underwater camera... :-)

@Dave: What the human kind is doing to the oceans is simply unbelievable! Men are not that inteligent after all...
