Colorfully caparisoned elephants marching up to the magnificent palace ! Wow thanks for sharing these awesome pics.
I do love the colorful elephants and what a lovely place! Terrific captures as always, JM! The last shot is superb! Enjoy your evening!Sylvia
Wow!!! Wonderful adventure!! I love all the colors that can be found in different countries like Guatemala, India, Peru, Thailand, or Southern France....the fabrics and tilework especially. Wonderful captures here.
Those are beautiful pictures (I've never seen any bad pics on your blog anyway!). Love the colours... your photography reminds me of my dad's old National Geographic issues from the 1980's... they feature many of my favourite photographs
Very nice to see these photos! Great series JM!
WOW....what a fantastic pictures....you have visit a lot of nice places....thanks for sharing this photo's.Joop
What a grand occasion!. The nearest I have come to that is the procession of the holy tooth in Kandi.
Did you ride? The Miami Zoo had some elephants people could ride but I think they stopped that for fear of injury!Love all the colors. The "drivers" do look a wee bit bored, though. Magnificent castle!
whereas some ride elephants I think that even though they are so beautifully dressed, i d still prefer to walk !
Tirando a velocidade e a altura, será que a sensação de andar de elefante é idêntica à de andar a cavalo?
Brilliant! Exotic! And overlooking the water is such an added bonus. I love the pink toenail polish on the elephant on the right!
Kertomus on upea. Intia on niin erilainen maailma.Terveisin.
What an event to witness! It must be an important ritual for the elephants to be so colorfully painted.
