You have traveled to the most fascinating and wonderful places in the world, JM!! I thought I'd traveled a lot, but I surely can't match yours!! I'm so glad you share your travels with us -- as I've written before, they're the next best things to being there myself. These are wonderful captures of Pompeii!
Wonderful to see what a few decades and a flourishing tourist trade have achieved in creating reality in this monument of a tragedy. It looks beautiful, yet I found the stark reality or yesteryear more touching,
Wow, how preserved that is! I hear that more and more areas in Pompeii are getting interdicted due to risk of falling apart, which is a pity... God bless you! Cezar
Ah, a place we've both been to. Unfortunately we arrived in Pompeii rather late in the day and saw only part of the grounds. I don't recall this building. Lovely.
It's ages since I have gone "travelling" with you. Have just scanned down all your sumptuous photos until I reached the last one I remembered visiting.
It is like flipping through National Geographic scrolling through your blog. So, diverse, so colourful, so beautifully photographed ... what a treat.

Have a nice day! : )
It was so hot when I was in Pompeii, I didn't enjoy it much. These are lovely shots of the ruins. :)
Such amazing architecture and art work.
I've been to Pompeii but don't remember seeing anything a complete as this ... or perhaps I was worn out with travel by then.

A misteiosa Pompéia. Já pensastes em Pompéia habitada, como não deveria ser? Como por aí se diz: brutal.
What a lovely home that must have been. The courtyard is amazing.
I haven't been there yet... would love to go though. Great pictures.
