One might think they look a bit odd, but I was out and about today and saw some very strange hairdos along with very fine-looking people covered up with ugly blue-black writing and pictures on their skin. Some were covered from head to toe. Now they were really odd!
These Tanzanians appear to be celebrating something - a good hunt, a boy becoming a man?
I can hardly imagine how thrilling it must have been to stand where you were in order to take this unique photo! Everything about it is beautiful. I love the lively animated mood and the individual self-expression through hair style, clothing, and adornment.
This is a wonderful shot! I was lucky enough to get to East Africa a few years ago and very much enjoyed visiting a Masai village. Needless to say, I took many photos...thank goodness for digital photography!
