Dave, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo has already been vandalized but I really hope the authorities, whoever they are now (the army so far...), can prevent all sites from being damaged.

Beautiful Isn't it amazing that the colors are still so vibrant after all these centuries.
I took a class in dyes and the natural dyes last the longest without fading. Amazing to me. MB

Have the artifacts inside been disturbed? Let's hope what happened with the museum in Bagdad doesn't happen in cairo. great shots. Beautiful things... I posted some Egypt too last week. Let's hope it all turns out ok.
