JM! I was gazing through the first photo and I was amazed! Your shot looked really Magical! It's not just the place that is gorgeous but the way you have shot it, the lighting and the colors and the composition made it very beautiful! Lonely Planet would surely love it as a cover for one of their City Guides to Istanbul! They actually have an on going Photo Contest :D
Thanks for this great Shot! I'll be pumped up for my Exams Tomorrow! A week of regular classes left and after a month, College is officially over :D
Julie and I have been to the Blue Mosque. Mosques are indeed beautiful, but the larger ones can be a challenge to photograph because of their size and lighting, and of course they are a place of worship and one does not want to be too intrusive when photographing. You have overcome those challenges quite well in your top photo.
The architectural details and tiles in mosques are exquisite and add to their beauty, but no photographs can do justice to the experience of being inside and free to explore the details of the world's great mosques.

I've heard of the Blue Mosque, but have never been in any mosque. This is absolutely gorgeous. What fantastic windows!

Those look like really beautiful windows in it Jose. You should have taken some close-up shots of them too.
