This is so beautiful. I saw these falls on another blog recently and I think they were featured in National Geographic not long ago. I guess I should put a visit there on my "bucket list."
The debate about whether the Brazilian or Argentine side fo the falls is better is rather artificial, as from the Brazil side you are looking at the Argentine side, and from the Devil's Throat area of the Argentine side you are looking at the Brazil part of the falls.
The walkways that both countries have built into the falls area, as shown in your photo today, are amazing. I would not have wanted to be part of the contstruction crew that did that job.
i like this debate about both sides of the falls. we have a similar debate with the canadian and the U.S sides of niagara falls. it is a fantastic place and i live very close to it. google it if you have time. brilliant photo as always ~laura
Creative use of the bridge theme. This is a place I'd like to see, and a lovely view I have not seen in pictures before - maybe it's the weather. Anyway, beautiful shot. I have a Manaus street on my Pavement blog today.

Looks like the bridge to nowhere--and that's a good thing. You really captured the power of the falling water.
That is one very very misty bridge!
