Maravilhoso cartão postal de Évora, está aqui na minha lista de lugares para visitar um dia! E que céu azul de Brigadeiro ( costumamos falar assim no Brasil quando o céu está perfeitamente claro e azul )! Léia
This is certainly worthy of framing and hanging. Wonderful juxtaposition. And it leads to some questions about religion which I will refrain from asking ... :-)
Roman ruins and romanesque cathedral, a nice combination indeed.Odd to think that already the romans were plagierising the architectural style of Greece.

Nice light ,colors and composition...... well done JM
I would be happy if these styles had never changed.
Those Romans got everywhere ;-) Great photo. Diane
Such a fantastic capture, JM! And beautiful blue skies as well!! And, yes, I too, would be happy if these styles had never changed!! Hope all is well!
Fabulous architecture!
Não conheci Évora, mas deveria.
Fabulous contrasting architectures.
This is outstanding! What a beautiful combination of old styles tied together with slightly (?) newer Portuguese white and yellow. I just love this!
I like the juxtaposition of the old with the older.
It's amazing that stuff that old is still standing!

Peut-être c'est mieux qu'une soit morte ! Meilleure entente !
Nice composition! I love how Roman columns pop up everywhere and that people actually left them there. We tend to bulldoze things after 50 years.
