WOW! I've always wanted to go there to find the extinct and endemic Zhanzibar leopard that is rumoured to still exist with the witches of the island. Fascinating culture!

You do have a terrific eye which makes you a terrific photog. Super composition and the entire frame is filled with interest. I like the muted colors here.

Great image! If I close my eyes, I can imagine floating along peacefully in that vast paradise, one arm lazily trailing along in the water, looking forward to exploring, swimming, laying out, and soaking it all in. Some places really need to stay pristine. For many of us, such places appeal to something deep within that is all too often untouched.

Dear JM,

Thank you for your kind response to my last message here from a nutty English woman you've never met! I'm delighted to say that 2 weeks after my operation, I made my visit to Zanzibar (following a brief stay in Selous Game Reserve)and it was all I had dared hope for! Thinking aboiut Costa Rica for the next one!

Warm regards, Lindsay
