What a wonderful scene from Masai Mara.
Wow , so many of them .... Nice capture.
This is quite a contrast to the hippos in the zoo that you posted yesterday on your Purtugal site.
That is a lot of hippos and they do indeed look quite different from the ones snoozing in the zoo! Terrific shot, JM!!Sylvia
This looks like one of those rivers where the crocodiles lurk! Scary places. I've read that crocs kill and eat some 600-700 Africans every year - catching them in the rivers.
You don't often get to see them out of the water. Great shot. Diane
