What a gorgeous photo! It's so well-exposed and the sky forms the perfect backdrop! But the Convent Church makes the whole thing sparkle. Thing is, I wonder if the Convent Church will last as long as the Roman temple? :-)

The ancient columns rising into that brilliant blue sky are beautiful.

I almost thought this was Greece from the first shot. I love old ruins, especially when they're backed by a blue sky. Really beautiful shots today!

Interesting photos. I was never interested in history at school, but since moving to France I love these sort of places and finding out about them :) Diane

Évora já está na minha lista e de certo o templo romano. Agora, deve ser interessante ficar hospedada neste hotel.

Hi JM, i always love the quality of your photos, and of course i envy the places you've been to! I am glad i was at Angkor Wat before you did, haha! When you go there don't visit just the main Angkor Wat temple, as a lot of nearby temples are also very interesting and have unique qualities of their own.

Those guys reached really far, didn't they? Wish I have the opportunity to see the Roman remnants in Portugal some day.
God bless you!
