Plumeria (common name Frangipani)is also a common naturalised plant in southern and south eastern Asia. In local folk beliefs they provide shelter to ghosts and demons.
In India the flower is called Champa & is worn by women on their hair.It has a wonderful mesmerizing fragrance and is so beautiful. It is also used in Hindu temples for decorations.
Have a great Christmas.
