"Bernie Made Off"

Bernard Madoff, carved by Portuguese street artist Alexandre Farto aka VHILS, at the "Hell's Half Acre" exhibit, a ground breaking series of installations (large scale evocation of Dante's Inferno), staged within The Old Vic Tunnels, a recently discovered labyrinth beneath London's Waterloo station

Beautiful shot! And I like the color.

That's an interesting sight! I like your title better than I like the man! Very appropriate! Hope you have a great week ahead, JM!

Hell's Half Acre is certainly a fitting description for Madoff's chicanery!

How fascinating the discovery of those labyrinths is -- first I've heard of it. Sounds like something out of a British series I've recently become addicted to called 'Peculiar Crimes Unit" mysteries.

It took me a while to see what you were saying about this exhibit and why the carving of Madoff is appropriate for it. Yeah, he definitely belongs on one level of Hell.

He did make off for quite a while and quite a ride, but he is now spending the rest of his life in prison, and his son has committed suicide, which would certainly give him much to reflect upon during all that time in prison.

The perfect venue for a Rogue's Gallery.

Tunnels beneath Waterloo Station, eh? Our cities are eerie yet exciting places, Jose.

I really like this style of Vhils. It emphasises the beauty of decay, which is what you do with your amazing series.

At least down here in the labyrinth, his works do not get tagged.
