I love the colorful buildings! Just the kind of neighborhood I enjoy walking through! Delightful capture as always, JM! Enjoy!

Florence is one of my favorite cities in the world. This is a wonderful shot and really captures the feeling of the city. I bet if I looked closely enough I would see a cat or two.This is my first visit to your blog, and I find it to beat true work of photographic art. Your gorgeous shots of London also bring back many, many memories. Those memories and the photographs of my travels are so special now that I no longer do much of it.

Florence is one of my favorite cities, too, and I was a bit sad I did not have time to stop there on my last trip to Italy a couple of years ago. Super addition to Sunday Bridges.

Just beautiful, JM. I wonder if I may have seen a photo of this somewhere else, or perhaps there are other bridges similarly constructed...great colors, but those houses/apartment seem less than sturdy...I'd walk out on one of those balconies in the morning with my coffee and tumble head first into the river!

This is the only way to view PV, Jose. Once upon the bridge itself, the entire thing becomes very tawdry and commercial. The amount of poor quality gold dangling around is simply sickening.

Nice shot from this angle, though ...

Wonderful place. I love Florence, and it has been a lot of years since I've been there. You are inspiring me to drag out the slides and try to scan them. I have luck with some and no luck with others. But I will try this year! Keep on posting great places :)

ah, just two hours drive from me...I love it;
...did you know, that even in medioeval times there were already the gold-shops on the bridge?
...Because the "Landowner" in these times wanted to get payed for using the bridge; and only the gold-merchants would be able to pay the high taxes! ( didn't change 'til today!!ehem)

Great Photo, JM!

ciao ciao elvira
