First, I was again impressed by your photography. But, being very ignorant about too many things, I had to look this up...

Prince Albert (I used to smoke his tobacco in my pipe! :-)) ... died at 42. Probably to get away from the queen. ;-)

This memorial, so beautiful, would cost about $10 million USD today, according to Wikipedia.

Sheesh!

I didn't realize it had so much gold and color. I missed seeing it by a short distance, and it was overcast that day. Nice to see the blue sky.
