The Himalayas... Tibet... Nepal... What an impressive part of the world! I'm also curious about Bhutan, wish to go someday!
God bless you!

Very nice washed out colors and composition.

Beautiful in it's faded glory.

Is this just left to ruin or supposed to be this way? MB

Ah, so cool! I love those muted colors. Is that the way it was, or is that because this is an old film shot where the colors faded a bit?

Terrific capture as always, JM! I do enjoy traveling via your blog -- especially now that I don't travel as much as I did! Have a lovely evening and a great week ahead!

@MB and Jacob: This is the wonderful patina you find in every centuries-old temple at Nepal.

The colors and look of these ancient buildings and area are fabulous. I really have to get to Nepal. Your photos have made us put in our list sooner. Happy Sunday!

The sun sure has taken the colours out the lower parts of this. I wonder if it is still in use as it looks a bit run down?

The coloring is spectacular. Beautiful shot, JM. It looks like it should be in a magazine layout.

I could tell the harsh nature there from the colors you captured.
