What a strange place to have that mirror or whatever it is but it does make a great reflection.

Very cool. Why aren't the reflections blue? And I'm assuming that is a real goose, right?

You can always find something strange or curious around there!

To be honest I don't remember this thing (and I'm not thinking about swan!)in the water!

L'opposition des couleurs, la composition, le sujet : tout est parfait.

Lovely composition ! The cloud reflection is quite stunning on this piece of art... Thanks for the sharing !

Another wonderful composition, JM! I would have missed the clouds' reflection if you hadn't pointed it out.

The piece reminds me too much of a satellite dish.

neat reflections in the water but what IS that round thing? sculpture, art or satellite ?
excuse my ignorance :)

Hi JM,
This is my first time to leave comment on your blog as an individual. I started having my own blog very recently!

Welcome back from traveling. It's a great composition. Obviously the swan is not afraid of you at all!
Have a nice weekend.

As you might guess, my favorite part is the swan. I love the lighting on it! The composition is really interesting, though, and the lighting. Regarding that tree root - funny thing, I happen to have the tree on another blog! http://astoriaoregondailyphoto.blogspot.com/2010/03/big-tree-at-flavel-house.html

I love that photo, the swan seems as though it doesn't quite know what to make of the artwork!

That cloud reflection is amazing. I also love the swan. Diane

How much did you have to pay that swan to position itself so perfectly? :)

Unusual reflection. The shimmering light off the swan makes it seem other worldly.

Fantastic shot of my childhood roaming grounds! :-)

Swan + clouds caught in a reflector, what could be better.

Is the disk copper/brass to give it that reddish reflection of the sky? And the lovely swan makes it a nice addition to Weekend Reflections.
