Nice reflection, JM. My hubby used to live in Pakistan and is no stranger to India either.

Weekend here is not going so well. Angry shouts and sounds of gunshots from the clashes between troops and protesters continue to puncture the night. Church is closed tomorrow, as the major junction of Asoke-Montri nearby is closed.

They told us a story about this giant silver urn when we were there. As I recall, the ruler filled the urn with Ganges River water and took with with him on a ship to England for a coronation ceremony so he would have Ganges River water in which to bathe during the trip.
