It's a powerful image and very sad to think about. It's also strange to think that some of my ancestors could have passed through this place.
The way they did this really brings home the degradation and pain. As James said, it's a very powerful image, so sad, but so important to remember.
This is a touching post...God bless you!Cezar
that is such a powerful image.
Yes, and right to the point.
It's a grim reminder and one we can't forget huh?! So much out there and frightening to realize some things actually get repeated if we aren't careful. Thanks JM.
I am pleased these time passed and were abolished. Makes one look back at history and think about cruel things which was done.
What an excellent shot JM !! Really appreciated this one !!Great
When I taught American history, we spent some time on slavery...and always watched the Roots series. This is an impressive memorial!
Without a doubt, an impressive and emotion-provoking memorial. Thanks for sharing.
What a powerful and grim memorial. I think that might be the best memorial I've seen. It really brings to life what actually happened. Thanks.
This images surely say lot of things about the horrifying acts in those days.
That is so heartbreaking. I cannot imagine why people would choose to treat another person this way just because of the color of their skin.
