Wow..I was going to say maybe the top is my favorite but there is some nice detail in all of these! Gosh..what were doing besides snapping pictures? Were you holding an espresso or would it make you too jittery? Just unreal!

Cenário pra filme!
Suas fotos são obras de arte em fotografia, lindas!
Esses canais estreitos, a ponte, os detalhes nas construçoes, tudo perfeito, parabéns!

ahhhh sweet. i have been to venice twice ....lucky me. we walked back from the crowded areas also but with gelato in hand, stopped on bridges to admire, then had to try to remember how to get back to the piazza.

Beautiful shots. They capture the essense of Venice really well. I wonder how many tourists see Venice like this? Not many, I'm willing to bet.

I like the way you composed these shots and cropped them...those are narrow waterways for sure. National Geographic had an article recently about how Venice is sinking and in watery trouble. Very interesting. And scary!

Wonderful photos - the water shimmers. You can almost see the little boats swaying with the motion.

I love the "back streets" of Venice. Julie and I took a group of 16 friends and family to Italy a few years ago and I booked a "back streets" walking tour for the group. At the end of the tour we had three gondolas lined up for our group, and when we emerged from the narrow back alleys to the Grand Canal, a motor boat carrying James Bond" from filming a scene of Casino Royale came right between two of our gondolas.
