A manyatta is a hut made of mud and dung supported using branches from trees.
The young mother is looking after her child on the sleeping area, which is covered with animal skins while her husband is showing me wooden headrests they use as pillows.

Mud and dung? Not sure I would like that. And I sure wouldn't like those head rests.
What an interesting place, though. They look like a nice family and must have welcomed you rather warmly.
