Humayun's Tomb


Humayun was the second Mughal emperor who ruled present day Afghanistan, Pakistan and parts of northern India. The mausoleum was comissioned by his widow nine years after his death (1556).

Below are the nearby Isa Khan's tomb and mosque. Isa Khan was an Afghan noble who fought the Mughal Empire.
