Tiahuanaco

Tiahuanaco is a pre-columbian archaeological site in western Bolivia, 72km west of La Paz. It is considered to be one of the most important precursors to the Inca Empire, flourishing for about 500 years near the south-eastern shore of Lake Titicaca.
